What is an Abstract?
- An abstract is a summary of your paper.
- It is like the trailer of you paper.
Your abstract is an opportunity to convince you audience that your paper is worthwhile reading. Abstracts are typically 100 – 250 words. For APA format, abstracts are optional. There are two types of abstracts: informative and descriptive. In this section, we will cover the informative abstract.
