2 Samuel 7:4-17

“The Lord declares to you that the Lord himself will establish a house for you” (2 Samuel 7:11).
Everything that we are and have is because of God. It is interesting to see how God reminds King David that it was God who put him in his position of honor, and did so according to his will, and not as a loan that David could repay by building him a temple, since it is God who would build a house for the king.
To think:
How far has God taken you? This is a good time to thank him for his undeserved love and faithfulness
Prayer:
Thank you Lord for your love and blessings. Let me remember that you have brought me here out of your love and your good will, and not due to my works or my power, but because it pleased you that it should be so.
