2 Corinthians 6:1-13
by Andrés Chinchín
“Now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2).
God has provided us with his grace in Christ Jesus, to be partakers of his work of redemption on earth. This grace allows us to live as he lived in this world, being faithful in the small things of everyday life. He gives us the strength and wisdom to carry out our daily tasks as an act of worship to God and testimony to the world.
This grace also allows us to live a life of self-control, not being dominated by sin and our passions, but by the Holy Spirit, doing what pleases the Father.
However, we must be careful not to waste his grace, ignoring God’s call and living as if we had never met him.
To think:
May the grace that God gave us not be in vain, but may it bear good fruit for the glory of the Father.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your grace in Christ Jesus. Forgive me for my faults and help me to live a life that exalts the grace I have received from You.
Amen
