Mark 12: 18-27

“He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are very wrong!” (Mark 12:27).
Sometimes we seek to fit God’s infinite knowledge to our limited understanding. This is what happened to the Sadducees. They wanted to test Jesus with their deductions and his logic. However, Jesus confronted them with the truth, discovering what was really in his heart. The desire to discredit Jesus, in order to do their own will.
To think:
In what areas of your life have you tried to adjust Jesus to your logic, to do your will?
Take some time for the Holy Spirit of God to enlighten you and guide you in the path of truth.
Prayer:
Jesus, you are the way, the truth, and the life. Forgive my sins and my desire to have full control over my life. Help me to trust you and obey your will.
