Jonah 3:1-10
by Andrés Chinchín

“When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened” (Jonah 3:10)

The story of the prophet Jonah is a story of God’s mercy and man’s redemption. God redeems the prophet, in order to save a nation that did not know him or fear him. In the same way, the Lord uses our wounds and failures so that we can be witnesses to those who do not know him, and in this way show them his grace and his love.

To think:

Where has God brought you from? Maybe he wants to use that experience to bless those around you.

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for your mercy in my life. Use me as a testimony and blessing to those around me.

Amen
