Hebrews 2:14-18
by Andrés Chinchín

“For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.” (Hebrews 2:18).

In these verses the apostle Paul reminds us that God has freed us from the devil who held us in his power through the fear of death. In God’s eyes we are very valuable, even more than the angels, since he has not provided that kind of freedom for them. This is why we can approach him in the midst of our weaknesses, trials, and fears to find his help, power, and mercy.

To think about:

In what area of your life do you feel weak and exhausted? You can approach the Lord to find refuge, strength, and freedom.

 Prayer:

Lord, you are my strength and my refuge. I abandon my weaknesses and fears to you and rest in you.

Amen
