Genesis 8: 6-22
by Andrés Chinchín
“Then God said to Noah, ‘Go out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons’ wives with you’” (Genesis 8:16-17).
In these verses we see the patience that God forges in the life of Noah. The time of the flood had been very difficult, and this undoubtedly forged the dependence of Noah and his family on the Lord; because only He had control of the ark and its final destiny. However, the flood did not last forever, and God allowed Noah and his family to walk outside again and rebuild their lives.
To think:
Sometimes God allows us to go through trials to form our character. Let us not lose heart in the midst of waiting.
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to wait and trust in you in the midst of difficulties and trials; knowing that, in your time, you will bring restoration to our lives.
