Exodus 16:1-15
By Andres Chinchin
“I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel; speak to them, saying, At evening you will eat meat, and in the morning you will be satisfied with bread, and you will know that I am the Lord your God.” (Exodus 16:12)
The Lord listens to his people. Even in the hardest moments, when the people of God rose up in rebellion against the Lord. He listened to them and had compassion on them, and gave them the food they wanted. Although unfortunately, that did not help their development or allow them to pass the test that he had prepared for them to grow.
To think:
In what areas of your life do you find yourself in rebellion against God?
Maybe it’s time to stop your complaining and ask God to guide you with his peace and infinite love through the test he has prepared for your growth.
Prayer:
Thank you Lord for your faithfulness in the midst of trials. Give me peace and wisdom and perseverance to be victorious.
