Nehemiah 2:1-8
by Andrés Chinchín

“And the king granted it to me, according to the good hand of my God upon me” (Nehemiah 2:8).

The story of Nehemiah is the perfect reflection of God working in the midst of the vicissitudes and hazards of life, since it was not the influence that he had before the king, nor his speech, but God himself who granted him grace before the king to stop travel and rebuild the wall of Jerusalem.

To think:

King David already said it “It is you who confirms my fate” (Psalm 16:15)

Prayer:

Lord God, Thank you that in the midst of life’s vicissitudes you are in control, and you carry out your plan and your blessed will without anyone being able to stop you.

Amen
