Romans 8:26-30
by Andrés Chinchín

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:26-30).

On many occasions we are very weak because of our daily routine and life in general. It is in those moments when the Lord invites us into his presence to be strengthened in him, having full confidence that his Holy Spirit is interceding for us, and articulating our requests to the Father.

Furthermore, whatever our circumstance, we can be sure that God is working in everything for our good and for his glory.

To think:

Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am meek and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls; For my yoke it is easy, and my burden light. (Matthew 11:28-30)

Prayer:

Thank you Lord for your love, and for your Holy Spirit who intercedes for me. Help me have peace and confidence, knowing that you are working in my life.

Amen
