Matthew 9:32-38
by Andrés Chinchín

“And when he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them; for they were helpless and scattered like sheep without a shepherd” (Matthew 9:36).

The Lord has compassion on his creatures. In these verses, we see Jesus healing a demon-possessed man despite the criticism of the Pharisees. He also calls us to take part in his plan to renew the world. He asks us to pray to the Father to send workers who can preach the message of salvation to those who do not know him.

To think:

Have you ever doubted God’s love and compassion for you?
Remember his great mercy for us through his son Jesus Christ.

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for your kindness and your compassionate heart. Help me to live trusting in you and spreading the message of salvation to those who do not know you.
