Luke 8:40-56

“But Jesus said, ‘Someone touched me, for I perceived that power had gone out from me” (Luke 8:46).
The very act of touching Christ’s garment does not seem to be something extraordinary. However, it was the woman’s faith and her trust that Jesus was powerful enough to heal her that allowed the miracle to take place. In the same way, in our lives there are times when the situations around us seem hopeless, but it is there that we can approach Jesus with faith, to receive his help at the right time.

In what area of your life do you need Jesus’ help?
You can approach him with confidence to receive his help and grace in the midst of your need.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you so much for your love and for your great mercy. I ask that you act in my life in the places where there seems to be no hope, and give me the faith to trust that you can do great and wonderful things for me.
