Luke 10:38-42

“But one thing is necessary, and Mary has chosen the good part, which will not be taken away from her” (Luke 10:42).
In this life full of countless responsibilities and concerns, Jesus invites us to sit at his feet and listen to his voice. This can happen through reading his word, obeying his commandments, and spiritual meditation.
However, we must not forget that the Lord calls us to work and strive; and that is why Mary’s meditation should always lead us to Martha’s actions.
To think about:
In what area of your life do you need to sit at the feet of Christ and listen to his voice?
Prayer:
Father, thank you for your word and the privilege of being able to hear your voice. Allow me to learn from you and continue working for the glory of your name.
