Galatians 3:6-18
by Andrés Chinchín
“So Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness. Know therefore that those who have faith are the children of Abraham” (Galatians 3:6-7).
God’s law is perfect, and it teaches us the way we should walk, giving order to the world. However, in our fallen state, we have failed to fulfill God’s law, and we are guilty and responsible before Him. However, in His great love, God has given us life with Him through faith; just as Father Abraham believed God and was counted as righteous, so we too, through faith in Jesus Christ, are righteous and clean before God; and filled with His Spirit to live a renewed life.
Food for thought:
The just shall live by faith (Galatians 3:11)
Prayer:
Father, thank you for your righteousness and your grace imputed to us, by which we are considered holy before you.
Amen
