Isaiah 25: 1-10

“And it shall be said in that day, Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us; this is the LORD in whom we have waited; we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation” (Isaiah 25:9).
In these verses we can see the character of the Lord. He is good to those who trust and wait on him with humility. Even when it seems that the Lord is late, his help comes and brings peace and joy to his people. However, he also opposes those who are proud and leads them to ruin.
To think about:
Let us wait patiently on the Lord, for his help will come at the appropriate time.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for your faithfulness. Help us to wait on you with humility and confidence.
