John 12:44-50
by Andrés Chinchín
“He who hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge; for I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world” (John 12:47).
In these verses, we see that Jesus raises his voice, to emphasize that he is the light of the world and that whoever walks with him does not walk in darkness. However, he has not come to judge the world, but so that the world may have life through him.
To think:
This is the time for repentance, for there will come a day when the word of God will judge us for ignoring the light of the world, Jesus.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for your mercy and love in sending your son Jesus to this earth to be the light of the world. Give me a docile heart, to follow and obey him.
Amen
