John 17:11-19

“My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one” (John 17:15).
In these verses, the word reminds us that Christians are those called by God to have the knowledge of the Father, the true God. This does not mean that believers will not have problems or challenges, for that is what living in the world is all about. However, Jesus has prayed for us, that in the midst of our struggles, sufferings and calamities, we may remain firm and holy in him.
To think:
When hard times come into our lives, we can draw strength, knowing that Christ has interceded for us and for our victory.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for calling me from darkness to light. Give me strength in you in difficult times.
